    same as in currys today..

pretty large i think, looked in maplins, were £3 each for slim ones that you can chop down.

Silver with a clear top, size of a small waste pipe in diameter. Much better.

already bought these when they were £34.99! They are very nice though haven't made it into the garden yet!! Checked out in conservatory though.

I bought these too and was thoroughly disappointed. The light that they give out is minimal, very dim. In fact, of my pack of 10, about 6 didn't work at all.

I gave them back and bought the plastic ones that were a pack of 8 for £11.97 (was temporarily on offer for £9.97) - much better lighting.

I have these as well and am very dissapointed with the 'light' they give out.

If I had kept the box and receipt they would have gone back!

4 out of 10 not working for me. Had to get out my screwdriver and soldering iron to fix them.

The way they pack them means the little LEDs can be squashed, and rips itself right off the circuit board inside. I'm surprised that not every pack they sell is going back, as I can't see with the way they pack them how you could ever get a pack with 10 out of 10 working.

They look alright but, as others have said, they aren't very bright. But then at £2 a piece, they're not bad.
