Yep Calpol is good stuff especially for teething babies!
Just to make sure everyone's aware that you can actually get calpol (albeit by another brand name) free on prescription for under 18's. This has saved me a fair bit with my 11 month old - she already has 12 teeth!!!!
Another one you can get free on prescription that not many people are aware of is Infacol for windy babies...That really did save us a fortune as it's sooo expensive!
Hope this helps some

I also got the 100 point when I bought Childrens Nurofen as well.0

the machine has been offering me 100 points on all boots childrens medicines.
i'm getting colief on prescription, good job too as it's £9.99 for a bottle which lasts about 9 days  i bought the first 2 bottles then somebody in the playground told me about the prescriptions.
i assume they still do it, when my 9 year old was a baby the GP would give you a prescription for calpol if the baby was ill and you didn't have any at home and didn't have the money to buy some straight away. it's worth having some at home anyway though, i'd rather use it when the baby is ill instead of waiting for a docs appointment by which time they'll probably have reached the age of 18 lol! thanks for this, i'll go get some for when my babe has his jabs.52% tight0 -
If you go to an independant chemist and ask for childrens paracetamol, it's cheaper than buying Calpol. Here I go again on my own....0
