Reclaiming child tax credits

Does anyone if you are able to reclaim money for tax credits if you had a child born between 6th April 1986 and 5th April 2003? My daughter works on a maternity ward a over heard a conversation saying similar Friday.

Not sure I can really answer your question fully however I did (until recently) work for the tax credit office...........please dont shoot me all you guys who have had bad experiences! However I can tell you that what you are referring to is the system that proceeded the current tax credit one.

After reading the link you have posted I would suggest you give it a go if you meet the criteria questions that have been listed. I know that making an application will NOT affect any claim for either child tax credit or working tax credit you currently have in place. If your not in you cant win!

Going by that link you can actually download the forms online or alternatively why not give them a call on 0800 6128735.
