Would love to go to Moors Valley have been with my Son (nearly 5) when he was at preschool, but my Daughter (7) has never been, August would be great, though I'm on holiday in Italy:j 2nd -9th, so just hope we can come.
For those who haven't been to Moors valley it's free to enter, though there is a fee for parking - can't remember how much offhand.
Lovely walks with things for the kids to climb on every now & again, for people with doggies, I think you can bring them along too!
Picnic areas & a train for the kids to go on, you have to pay for this though.Comping again - wins so far : 2 V festival tix, 2 NFL tix, 6 bottles of wine, personalised hand soap, Aussie miracle conditioner

It's really nice there.... but last time we went (day of the meet) my DD was poorly and was sick! So she didn't enjoy it very much but sure she will.

Another idea is Paultons Park but as DFW's it's probably expensive... but thought I'd mention it as it is a great day out. BUT it's £16 per person...!! If there's enough interest we may qualify for group rates, which is £12 pp."Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

Going to Paultons tomorrow birthday treat for kids bdays 1 week apart. I don't know if there are any tickets left, but online it was £16 each & £1 for an acompanying child as it's the 25th anniversary & kids go at 1983 prices! - I expect they are trying to drum a bit of business up as Fathers day sunday, might be quiet.
 It's a HOOT HOOT :T :rotfl:
May not suit dfw's without kids unless they are big kids themselves!Comping again - wins so far : 2 V festival tix, 2 NFL tix, 6 bottles of wine, personalised hand soap, Aussie miracle conditioner
