WH Smith in store clearance

Was in the CHester store today, and they have a range of stuff in the basement level that is heavily reduced.

Lots of Books, DVD's, Videos (what are they again), Pens at 5 packs for a pound. Also other stuff like folders, sketch pads, canvasses.

Managed to pick up a Lexmark printer/copier/scanner for £10 (cheaper than a pinter cartridge, also some of them reduced) , Large photo album for £3 etc.

They also had rolls of wrapping paper by the till on the same floor - this was 20p a roll for metallic 4 metre long rolls.

Is this just in Chester, or any other stores??

Also had card making stuff

I can add that the books in the clearance are usually only 50p each and there are plenty to choose from. Sometimes see photo albums, mouse mats and pencil cases there too.

    Xmas Saver!
At £10 they did, only got it cos it was cheaper than a cartridge. If it breaks after a week, I'll take it back for a refund - still has a 12 month guarantee.

    ...cheaper than a *lexmark* cartridge?

The point is lexmark printers are always cheap - but they turn the screw on the consumables.
