Another Abbey endowment question

I'm still filling in our complaint form and am struggling to find all my paperwork.
We already had an endowment for £30,000 and additional life cover of £40,000 but when we moved and took out a new mortgage(still with N & P), we took out an additional endowment with them. I think we had to do this in order to get the discounted mortgage rate but as it was in 1994 I'm not 100% sure of this. Am I likely to screw up our complaint if I put this as I can't understand why we would have taken out more life cover otherwise.

If you are unsure as to why it was sold, then I don't suggest you mention it why you think you took it. Let them try to figure it out.FOSman :beer:0
