ok, first of all.. I know the guitar I bought is cheap and therefore crap, but it "does a job".
I was in B&M bargains yesterday and there was an acoustic guitar (full size) for £12.99. I've always wanted to learn how to play an instrument and guitar was probably top of my list... bit of a bargain and it's decent as a very first starter thing ( I think so anyway!)
Yes, I know they are cheap for a reason.... but if all you want to do is learn the basics and learn those basics over a few bottles of bud one night then you can't go wrong at that price. Same guitar was in the works for £30 (ish)..

I started a thread under techie stuff 'cos I am currently looking to buy a guitar kit for my teenage daughter.
What package exactly did you buy that you are so happy with?
Looked at one package offered on ebay for £58.95 where they had a little utube clip attached to their advert - watching this it sounded really good, but completely in the dark on whether it's worth taking any notice of this marketing ploy or not?!Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle. :A0 -

I can confirm that previous ebuyer guitars were very good for sub £100 instruments (mine was a KCC) and if the current models are the same quality then at these prices they are an excellent bargain. You can find old threads on MSE which confirm this and give tips on re-stringing and teaching materials.

I went for the black flying v myself, has a pretty decent sound to it for the price.Altho kool for a guy (im saying this as I bought it
) Its a similar design to what a certain Mrs Avril used to play so looks the part....probably doesnt sound as good as a £1000+ one tho:rotfl: good build to it overall a very decent budget guitar. To be honest mate for £40 you cant go wrong,I think to go to that "next kind of level" your looking at spending over £200+ for a kit so this is a better option:p
Its currently on at £39.99 at time of speaking!Dec Wins : Gold Leaf Necklace
