You are right there!! Then why do others always advise against put unsecured borrowing onto your mortgage?? I think as long as we are not stupid to rack up more debt in future we be fine. This last year has taught us to do without things and we have SURVIVED. Im ok, never been one of those "I want what others have", the kids are a different matter, they will have to learn to save for what they want. (not saying that THEY ran up the debt mind:rolleyes: ). If we do get a second chance to "put our house in order" I will print out all my posts and pin them up and every time i feel hard done by I will take a peek and remember these dark days!!DFW NERD....560

Cookie something for you to be mindful of is that many brokers are part of networs such as Sesame or Legal and General and the networks themselves are in the habit of asking for documentary income proof, so for example Bank statments that show sufficient credits.
A directly authorised broker that is not affiliated to a network is able to decide themselves whether Bank statments or other proofs of income are required.0 -

ps sheesh wasnt aimed at you Conrad, just when I think I got the hang of this mortgage lark something else comes up to bear in mind. Thats why Im destined to always be a support worker and not anything else!! I have appreciated ALL mortgage advice on these threads and am astounded at people willing to advise on the subject to help others. Thank you all:T
