Hi I'm new to the site and looking for a post made last week about a site which gives some of the commission back to me for re-mortgaging. I've been looking for it over an hour now and can't find it anywhere can somebody please point me in the right direction as looking through each post on my dial-up is a nightmare.
Thanks

I have had a look at your profile and I would say the post has been removed as the one here is the only one that comes up. If you look at your post count it says one as well.0

sorry for the confusion I don't mean a post I made, I mean a post I saw on here last week about getting money back on re-mortgaging.0

All independent mortgage advisers MUST now give you the option to rebate ALL the commission earned from a transaction.
Obviously in most cases they will then want a fee ( or retainer agreement ) and depending on size and difficulty of case , the fee may or may not be higher than the rebated commission.
Other brokers may offer commission based service ( poss as well as above) and some might also offer a rebate, although you should ensure you understand the basis of this rebate - ie is advice provided, is it a flat amount or %, are all lenders available.
This information should be provided in writing , as part of a "initial disclosure document"Any posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0 -
It took me a while but I've found it now. Thanks for replies.0
