Hi,
The mortgage on my second home has finished its discount deal.
i am looking at a HSBC or Woolwich mortgage. Will i have issue geeting mortgage on second property as was previously handled via a broker however wary mortgage companies now dealing direct.
Any other good deals worth considering alongside HSBC/ Woolwich?
Thanks

Depends, if the 2nd property is a 2nd home that you live in and you can afford both mortgages (according to the lenders criteria) then there are lenders that will look at doing the mortgage. Not all though by any stretch of the imagination.0

Which lenders are good for this and reasonable lending criteriaFiliss0 -
Sorry if offends, but personally I think its bad form to directly ask a broker ( rather than an general poster - as identified by thir signature) for recommendations of actual lenders, to enable you to go direct. Although its up to LF if he answers or not.
Have you thought of employing a broker on a fee basis to get the best of both worlds?Any posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0 -
what was wrong with the "without knowing your full circumstances, we are unable to tell you which lender or deal is most suitable for you. If you would like to see k professional advice, I am sure that they will be more than happy to help" response.
Me thinks Mrs Payless didn't get him his shredded wheat this week
