Pictures won't open

This may be a really silly question but when i go onto some web sites such as e/bay etc that show photo's of items, all i can see is a outline of where the photo is with a little square box with a red cross in it. I have tried to rightclick then click on "open picture" but nothing happens.

On internet options the security level is set to medium.

I cant think of anything else to try. Any sugestions????

It doesnt happen on all websites just some.

I've tried that it hasnt made any differance.

If you are using Internet Explorer, then it might be worth working through the support guide at -

In particular, I used to get this problem if I had too many pictures in the cache and clearing it used to solve it.
