1. Entry is open to anyone excepting:

- employees and officers of the Gap Year Company Limited, or of any parent, associated or subsidiary company of the Gap Year Company Limited;

- employees and officers of any organisation sponsoring this competition or donating any of the prizes, or of any parent, associated or subsidiary company of those organisations; or

- the immediate families of, and people living in the same household as, any of the above.

2. Only one entry per person please - give others a chance.

3. There is no cash alternative to the prize and you can't exchange the prize, or transfer it without the permission of the sponsors/donors.

4. The prize will be awarded to the first entry drawn. Incomplete entries will not be accepted and the judges' decision will be final.

5. The closing date for entries is 30th June 2008. the winner will be notified by e-mail/phone by 14th July. If we can't contact the winner before 1st August 2008, or the winner is ineligible, the prize may be forfeited and a substitute chosen.

6. We're not responsible for any entry not reaching us by e-mail before the closing date (however that happens) or for any destruction of or alteration to your entry before we open it. In other words if there is a telecoms failure or delay or fault in transmission, or a systems failure or interruption, or if someone hacks into your entry, don't blame us. We'll not acknowledge receipt of your entry.

7. We will not be liable for any injury, death, loss or damage the winner suffers in connection with the acceptance, use or possession of the prize, unless we've killed or hurt someone because we were negligent. The sponsors/donors may make participation in the prizes conditional on the winner signing waivers of liability, but that is for you and the sponsors/donors to sort out.

8. The promoter of this competition is The Gap Year Company Limited, and our registered office is 2 Chalfont Square, Old Foundry Road, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP4 2AJ.

9. The winner will allow us and the sponsors/donors of the prizes to use his/her name and entry, or to refer to them, in connection with services and products we/they offer, in other advertising/promotions and in announcements about this competition, without payment to the winner - remember there's no such thing as a free lunch.

10. We may use the information you provide to us in order to send you news and tell you about services in which we or our associated companies think you may be interested, and we may disclose those details to the sponsors/donors of the prize who may use that information for similar purposes.

11. If there is any dispute as to the identity of the person submitting an entry, that entry will be treated as though submitted by the account holder of the e-mail account at the time the entry was received by us.

12. By participating in this competition and clicking on 'Send Entry' you agree to these conditions. If you do not agree to them, you should click on 'Clear Form'. Your entry will not then be submitted.

13. The laws of England and Wales apply to this competition and the interpretation and validity of these rules.

14.
