Nelson Cooper "delivery card" scam

Received a card through the door, it has a rotal mail emblem on the front, says in big letters across the top "we have a delivery for you, previous attempts have been unsuccessful".
There is a series of tick boxes down the side of the card, the box "you were out" is ticked.
There was an 0800 to call, as i'm waiting for a delivery i called it assuming it was for my expected parcel.
Oh no, silly me, i got through to a really nasty rude individual who told me i had to give my name and address immediately, i refused as i didn't know who they were, asked him what the company is, guess what..... yep it's a DCA.
Trouble is, ALL of my debts are being paid off and are under control, i have agreements with both of my creditors that they are happy with.
Oh well, looks like i'll have to check my credit report AGAIN! :mad:
