Yes, it's naughty. It would come under the definition of "Intent to defraud" (ie of 200 points, or £1.75 worth of goods long-term) and Boots would be well within their rights to have you charged, similar as to what they would do to a shoplifter.

Doubtful they would, of course, but that would be the legality angle as far as I can see.

It's really frustrating when this happens to me too! The adrenalin starts pumping half way through a shop and then a red mist settles in front of my eyes (although that could be DD making her fingers 'sparkly' in the tester make up palettes), I forget all the best bargains and the coupons I've got to use, and then nothing goes through the till. Typical!
Btw the ACM is a bit choosy about who gets which vouchers, although sometimes different machines will give different vouchers If you don't get the voucher you want in one machine it's worth trying another to see if you are being offered it there.

For the bootser asking about branches of Boots in Birmingham City Centre..

There's a small branch just inside New Street Station.
There's the large Bull Ring Branch and another in High Street.
The one just inside Great Western Arcade oposite Snow Hill Station has closed down.
There is another largish boots at 5 ways (5-10 mins on bus from town centre) and there is one small branch at Brindley Place by the bars and canal.

I don't know of any others but hth x

the 500 pts is a promotion wyb 2 premium beauty products. don't have to be from the same brand to get the 500 pts but better to if you want the clinique GWP. It gets added on at the till automatically.

Edit: I think one of the items has to be skincare the get the bonus points

I have just phoned both of my local stores, Bromley and Croydon, but they are not doing the large gift with purchase, just the small one with spf. Does anyone know any stores nearby which have the offer? They are both large stores so the offer must be selective.
