Hello,
I used my no 7 £5 voucher today on the lip gloss. I didn't realised that the lip glosses are all on offer at £4.75 (ish!). The assistant put it through with the voucher, so I got it for free. Made my morning!0 -
So annoyed! Went in to use my voucher in my local store, put it through, gave some receipts to put on as well, realised when walking out he hadn't put the points on.. or given me change! Went back in, the other member of staff who's there and always ever so polite apologised, put my points on, and said they would have to wait until Monday to find out if the till was wrong before they could do anything! New member of staff unsupervised ¬¬ Waiting until monday to find out, then if not, complaining to boots and requesting to see the CCTV there~*Cerenia*~

Don't know if anyone else has mentioned this but I saw these in store today:
They were giving them away as the GWP wys £20 (think they ran out of the other ones)... so looks like they will definitely be in store as a GWP soon! I guess they'll start giving it away with the mascara when the current GWP ends.:www: :: MFi3 ::

Hi all
Well I am not long back from a very embarrassing Boots shop.
Went with 10 printed out vouchers for the £5 off NO7 separated them all off - 1 for each product - so I had 5 x Nail Varnish, 4 x Lip Liners and 1 x Nail & Cuticle cream.
SA said "Where did you get all these from?" and I said "From an email sent to me by Boots". I just knew what was coming next. She said "You cannot use all of these together", I said "I'm not using them altogether I have them all set out individually as it clearly states 1 per transaction". She then said "Well I am going to speak to No7 counter about this as it does not seem right you are getting so many expensive products for so little money".
There was a huge que behind me and I was mortified, honestly. Off she went, no lie she was gone for over 5 minutes. She came back and said nothing and proceeded to put each item through. I waited a few seconds and said "What did they say?" She point blank ignored me!!! The people behind me were furious with Boots for only having 2 tills on and also giving off about me holding them up!!
I was sweating buckets as she had previously put through a GWP on only £10 of No7 products (after bogof's) and I just thought she was going to get that checked out too.
I thought I was going to go into early labour with the stress, I felt so like a thief. Don't think I will be taking advantage of these glitches again girls, that was scary:o
Ps sorry for the ramble!!
Do you know, I know just how you feel, and it's such a shame, when Boots head office are trying their damnedest, by giving out these lovely incentives, to get us to enjoy spending money with them, that there are some beastly SA's who treat their customers like scum.
It's not fair on the really lovely ones, either, and it's definitely not fair on Mr Boots.
From what I can work out, Boots are trying to build their customer loyalty base by making their offers more attractive, so that they can weather any recession. How much do we imagine a £6.25 bottle of nail varnish costs them in production, shipping and handling? I doubt they will be making much of a loss, if any, by selling it at £1.25. They have to have the stores open, keep their stock fresh, and we buy other stuff whilst we are in there - they know this. All this marketing is carefuly worked out, and then a few ill-mannered shop floor staff spoil it for us.
I snuck out of work on the last day of the facial skincare vouchers to spend my last voucher in my local Boots, and the staff there that day were so unhelpful, and one was downright rude, to the six customers trying to find something to use their vouchers on, that I haven't been in there since. I love mooching round Boots, but I hate being made to feel like a scrounger! I shall wait till I can go to a decent store. I emailed customer services, they were very kind and helpful, thanked me for bringing it to their attention, and assured me that they'd had words with my local branch, but I just don't feel like going back in there.
..... any good .com glitches going?!!0 -

moyilla, you should never be made to feel like a thief by an SA. It's their job to serve the customers, not stress them out, embarrass them, or make them wait without an explanation.
Regardless of the fact that you were using quite a few vouchers, the vouchers are there to be used and imo, the SA is there to help you use them.
I don't even see this voucher as a 'glitch' anymore - if it had have been I'm sure anything costing less than at least £7.50 (for example) would have been removed from the shelves. I honestly believe that Boots haven't done that in this case, as they're fully aware that most people will buy other things when using this voucher, and some might argue that the nail varnishes are only worth £1.25 at the most anyway.
In your case, I'd strongly recommend mailing or ringing CS about how the SA dealt with you. Whoever she is obviously needs retraining in customer care.
And fwiw, I'd be rambling too.

The Narciso Rodriguez? I'm really tempted to use a few points on a bottle of that Rubes, because I have a squirt (so to speak
) when I pop in PC too. (Hadn't seen it behind those screens before) OH liked it on me too, but tempted to try and find a tester to buy.
I can't remember who it was that posted about the testers smelling stronger, (possibly geordie_lass?) so if I can find a discounted one, I'm having itIt's lush.
