What happens is the 2 for £9 does kick in but in some cases when the ACM voucher beeps when scanned the SAs realise that it's already on offer, kick up a bit of a stink, usually saying you can't use it because the products are already on offer, you tell them its a valid voucher, they go get the manager and/or they override the offer so that it takes off the non haircare product (spray, glue, balm etc.), therefore cancelling out the 2 for £9 offer and you only get the free haircare product (they would more than likely put the free item through as £0.00 to get it free), so you pay full price for the shampoo or conditioner.

This only happens in a few cases, the ACM voucher usually goes through ok so the glitch works at £3.01/£3.51 but it's only when the voucher beeps and the SAs realise the offer you end up just getting the haircare item free.

I hope that makes sense! (and please correct me if I'm wrong)
