I've gone for this too.

Does anyone know of a place still selling one of the Toshiba HD DVD players for £50ish? Play.com and Amazon both had them for around this a month or two back.

I've bought an xbox 360 HD DVD player from amazon.de a couple of weeks ago, so have the option to buy an xbox to go with it if I'm unable to find a stand alone player elsewhere I suppose.

Not quite buried though.;)
Torchwood is due out soon, and a few Blu-ray players also play HD Dvds as do LG pc BD roms. This is the Grabbit board.
