Sorry marko4ever25 it doesn't work.
I've just tried this and its for AOL talk support. When you press option 3 for the option that is nothing to do with Talk it gives you the 0870 number and cuts you off.You could always use the non geographical number instead and use 18866 and pay 3p for the whole call instead

hi i pressed option 2 and got through0 -
You need to be an AOL Talk customer in addition to being a ISP member!
If you call the number you have provided the welcome speech says "Welcome to AOL's telephony support service" The Options are then as follows:
Option 1- Sign up to AOL Talk
Option 2- If you are an existing AOL Talk member
Option 3- If your query is not in relation to AOL Talk.
If you choose Option 3 (which is the logical option?) It states that you will not get support for anything but TALK, gives the 0870 number then cuts you off.
So I tried Option 2 as you advise only to be told that if you need AOL ISP help I need to call the 0870 number as I am not an AOL Talk member.
So to clarify, you need to be a AOL talk member to be able to use the freephone number."There are no pockets in a shroud..."0
