    I've been paying £3k interest a year... think HSBC have come out of our deal better than I did. :confused:

    Maybe you can make a profit if you die in debt but it's the part of your life where you may have to sleep under a bridge that makes me pay my way.

    Debt is bad, debt stops me doing the things I want to do in life.
    And I probably have paid more in interest than I ever made in profit.
    Even the things that I have purchased have depreciated in value leaving me in a negative situation.
    Debt ruins lives.

    Even Martin says debt isn't bad he's wrong but he's never had life go completely out of his control. If you have any debt it is bad as it can quickly become unmanageable.
