BLS and me

I have been paying BLS £150 a month since Dec 2000.
This is for a debt to Loyds for £19,000.
Can i request a statement from them, i have no idea whether there have been any charges applied or how much i still owe.

If they are charging you fees then YES would be my answer. Then ring a FREE debt advice organization such as CCCS or CAB and switch over.
Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)

    hi
we pay to BLS as well, its the collection arm for Lloyds, not a dm company. I also paid for a few yrs without getting a statement, but didn't really want to "rock the boat" and remind them that we are here!! I finally called them when the bank messed up on a direct debit and we were sent a letter questioning the late payment. We did not get a formal statement, but a letter detailing how much we had left to pay, confirming the payment amount and asking for an update on our financail positon. We ignored the last bit!! So, they were ok with us, but we are only one example. I will watch your thread, would like to know how others find BLS
