Hi. If you put up your SOA then we will be able to give you some ideas as to how to cut back.
Also keep a spending diary to see where the money goes.
Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)

Well done for tackling the issue now before it gets any worse. I wish I'd had my lbm at 20 instead of limping onto 33 to get to grips with it. As Tealady says post your SOA on here and people will give you loads of helpful advice to get all your debt paid off. good luck

Well done for coming here and seeking advice.

You do need to post your Statement of Affairs so we can see where we can help and what you pay out for each month ( and whats coming in)

Get that posted and we can help you sooner rather than later

    Take Care

Thank god for that, i thought it must be a typo. Right now, what about your social spending, food etc. Coffees, drinking, hair cuts. Put everything into your SOA hun, You will be surprised when you write it all down how much you actually do spend. Is your wage a take home wage or is there tax to come off that. You can open a basic bank account and just get a cash card with it. But you can still do direct debits out of it.. Do it sooner rather than later than get your wage transfered. Then you can start paying something off your O/D. Do you have any credit card charges you could claim back. This could reduce your debt to C/C company. x x x

  • to be honest pretty much whats left should be mine to keep apart from say £50 towards the CC i only have one chrge of £12 on the CC so it wouldnt really be worth upsetting HSBC about it (yet) i applied for a basic account this morning before with the nationwde so hopefully i can action that before the cut off date for this months wages my wages is after tax so really i should be able to handle my money especially doing the job i do.
  • the thing that is killing me at the moment is about £150 a month OD charges, im hoping this test case will soon end and them me claim them back which i think willl wipe the debt near enough

Until then offer to make a token payment towards overdraft. If you are going to claim back your bank charges then get the claim in now, at least you will be in the system for when its over.
