Hi,
Can any of you tell me where the best/cheapest place is to get a 40-42" rear projection tv or plasma?
I want to buy one for my boyfriend for xmas. The cheapest I have seen is around £500.

Which model did you see for £500?
Since I neither own a RP or plasma TV I can't comment on whether £500 will get you value for money.
I recommend lurking around avforums and get a basic idea of whats good (value) in your price range.
However, if he's the type that watches DVDs/Football then you can always get him one of these .0
