Cleaning a PVCu door

Can anyone recommend a good cheap cleaner for my double glazed front door, rather than me shelling out for expensive chemicals

Many thanks

I would avoid a gritty cleaner like Cif because it may scratch the surface;) and would try something like Asda Multi surface cleaner (lemon fresh) 1 litre for 75p.

With over 20 years experience in the glass trade. I can fully recommend Jif (Cif) to clean white plastic doors/windows. Most window fitters I know have used it for years (and still do). It's exactly the same as specialised cream cleaners for windows/doors at a fraction of the cost.

A light clean with Jif, then rinse it off with water wont harm the plastic at all.

Forget Jif/Cif, it's much easier and quicker (and it is much more effective) to use the specialist cleaner. I always use the UPVC cleaner from B&Q (cost around £2).
