I bought some solar (dragonfly) light and they are beautiful:j , but the batteries seem to be running out before the end of the evening (about 2 hrs of lighting) .
Will it be safe to recharge the batteries in my batterie charger. It just says they are Ni-MH 1.2v. and they are 600mAh. I did pop them into my charger last night and they seemed to be charging, but I took them out as I wasn't sure if it was the right thing to do and didn't want anything happening while I had my back turned on them.

If it is a proper Ni-MH charger for AAA/AA batteries it will be fine. Some have a setting for Ni-Cad batteries.
You can by some very cheap 900mAh AAA batteries from places like '7 day shop' and these have 50% more capacity.0 -
Thanks, I have now got them on charge. I am now going to get all the batteries out of the old solar lights that I don't use anymore as these batteries will come in for the tv remote control:beer:became debt free December 060
