Hi sorry I have not got back on here - FIL had a triple heart by-pass last week so have had no computer time. He is doing fine now after having to go back into surgery again, so hopefully all will be well.

Re the finances, done nothing much except juggle as per usual - have had my annual Egg 0% offer (till Nov 08) but need to move all the debt (£12000) off there first so I can take advantage of it by the end of June:eek: Moved a big chunk (£5000) yesterday; phoned M&S in order to move another big amount on to there & they tell me ' we have no BT offers at the moment'. In other words, they won't do any BTs which is a real pain! Otherwise have DHs egg card which has plenty of space on it but of course you can't xfer between Egg products. However, have posted over on the CC board where someone told me that Egg will allow you to BT an overdraft to their cards - I think that means to a current account, then pay off the other egg card with the bank a/c - then move it all back. I've asked for a bit more explanation - it's making my brain hurt which is probably why I got in this mess in the first place!! All simple explanations gratefully accepted...
