    HIya Lucy

To be honest i felt like this on Sunday/Monday and i felt really rubbish.

But like you say, take one day at a time. It will get better.

I did a little advent type thingy to help me see how much debt im paying off (each square equals £100 saved/made/paid off and i take one off to reveal the big picture underneath - a piggy bank with coins for my debt free! and a house gift wraped in a bow for my savings fund). Maybe that could help?

I hope you feel better soon.

    xx
    Debt: just my mortgage :D
  • Come on Lucy! Chin up as you say today is a better day! From memory you were about £15.5 -16 k when you started so you have already made a good start into :j

Im finding it a struggle to keep motivated aswell especially when people talk about going out and doing things but a little treat every now and then doesnt go a miss! And if you want a chat feel free to pm me.

    Thanks

I guess I have done well. I am just one of these insane people that always pushes myself harder to try and do better... problem is I think tend to blow out. Money and diet wise!!

I am officially my own worst enemy!

And I think I need to remember I am fighting debt of £13,000 + on an annual wage of £17,000.... no wonder it's not going down very fast.

I think I need a good 3 week run of sticking to the budget and the diet and see where I am and how I feel then... it's just getting to that point that's difficult :rotfl:

They need to ban chocolate and shops!!

But on a plus side there are 3 of the BIG bags of chocolates in the office (think the ones of Aero's Bubbles) and I have only had 1 sweet :D

    Hey Lucy!
    Hang in there chick!
You'll get there and yes you will have low points but celebrate that you're not giving up!
    ...Linda xx
It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
  • Awwww hun big hugs to you. Ok one big big thing you need to remember is that although you dont feel your debt is going down you are actually doing something about it. Focus on that, dont focus on how long it is going to take to sort ot all out just the very fact that you have stood up and thought, Ok something needs to be done about this is fantastic.

As for the diet thing, good on you for starting, further than I have got! I went for a long walk last night, even though I had the worst day in work and was really tired but I came home feeling upifted and refreshed. Maybe go for a walk, or call a friend to go with you, that way it doesnt seem like such a chore.

Remember sweetie there is always someone around here should you need a shoulder.

Sorry you're feeling blue, we all have times like this. But think about how far you've come in the last while, think about the friends you've made, and the fun we have on here too....

    See it's not so bad!!

Any news on the possible romance?

Also, i'm on facebook now, so look me up!!
