Hi, has anyone taken up the offer of the free comp with AOL when you sign up to their broadband. A friend was thinking of getting it but have not heard any feedback if the comp deal is ok and if the broadband is any good with AOL. Any feedback before he signs his life away would be really appreciated. Thank you peeps in advance x x x x x x x x x x

I looked into it briefly but I think there has been more discussion elsewhere - possibly on Hypno's thread. It's really a simply calculation of expensive broadband (I think for two years) as opposed to inexpensive broadband versus the cost of a laptop. I decided it wasn't worth it as you were tied in for so long.0
