Apologies if this is old news, but yesterday I discovered a Matalan clearance shop in Portadown. I got loads of stuff for all the family for holidays, like a summer dress for 10p, shorts for 25p, shoes and hats 50p. Most of the items I picked up were £1 - and heres the best bit - IT WAS BUY ONE GET ONE FREE:T . Two huge bags cost me £9. There was also a homeware section which seemed to have a fair bit of Christmas stuff but I didnt indulge in that section. I think the shopping area was called Magowan West (?).

Great for Kids clothes, I know it's terrible but when you get kids clothes for 50p. it's sometimes not even worth washing them if they get them mucked up...Live, Love & Laugh A Lot!0 -

Its fab, just watch the prices things scan at. Not everything in my last shop was correct i.e 1 pound things scaning at 9.
Also watch picking up the 20p stuff at the door and then buying loads more stuff, the till takes off the cheapest so by the thime you get to till you have forgotten about the 20p stuff you picked up. i.e split up your shopping into similar priced items to make the most of the offer.0 -

I agree with Freddie, I split everything into sets of same/similar prices and the very helpful assistant let me pay for each separately to make the most of the discount.Sarah0
