Art on Canvas

Hi
Ive decided to get some art for my walls on canvas, but I want to use my own photo's/art.
I know I can get another company to do it for me, but they are quite extortionate. Im fairly good with the woodwork aspect of it, but does anyone know how to attach a pic to the canvas? Would I have to paint it, or just get a large print and stick it on?
Any help of advice would be appreciated!

Jo, this might help you out,
www.intelligence-direct.com
Will print the canvas for you, you can have them stretch it onto a wooden frame or you can do it yourself and save some £££. With A2 size prints costing around £7 they seem pretty good value...
As for printing direct, I'm fairly certain you'd need a reasonably decent printer or possibly a very specialist one (thinking about the thickness of canvas). A transfer \ sticker might work, but then I'm not sure how that would stretch....

hmmm, didn't look at the delivery, but believe me I did a comparrison to other sites printing to canvas and these are WAY cheap. (the nearest competitor I could find charged around twice the amount for the stretched ones.)
