I Want something to hang from my radiator

Confused yet????
I want and have seen, but don't know where, some pot type things that hang from the radiators.
You fill them with water and as the radiator warms up, the water evaporates putting moisture back into air that central heating takes out. Also makes it easier to breathe.
Currently I use wet towels at night on the radiator (Hubby has asthma - open window in winter is too cold, and closed is too hot!!!)
I would like to get some before the cold sets in this year.
Betterware used to do them years ago, but I haven't seen them since.
Any help???

Had these things years and years ago hanging from my radiators, when I lived in Germany. Unless you use soft water (got a watersoftener installed??) they scale up in no time and become useless.
Various ones are still being sold - e.g. look here
How about just boiling a [cordless] kettle from time to time in the room you want to increase air humidity in? Take the kettle into the room, boil it with the lid open, let it steam off...one 'application' per day is better than those things that get rendered useless in no time...I know getting the kettle into the living room once a day sounds like a pain but I think it will actually work...0 -
tchibo has them on offer quite often, either stainless steel or ceramic. should be less than 5 pounds for one -ss - or 2 ceramic0

Yes, the kettle idea is good. Then when you want to make tea/coffee, the water will have been warmed considerably and you save money by needing to boil the water for a shorter time.
That's what I do anyway. Only I have a wall mounted gas heater (no central heating) and the small kettle sits on it beautifully.Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0
