Thanks very much to the OP I have just ordered one but they did not ask for payment details and I can't find anywhere in my account to change the payment details as it will have my old card from the last offer

You need to save the code when you enter it! Then it will work on the next page of the order.

I saved the code and then updated the basket and it deducted £1.40 showing the full price as 99p.

(Incidentally, I wasn't overwhelmed by the choice of Fathers Day cards so chose a kid's birthday one instead. It's my son's best friend's birthday in a couple of weeks and he'll be really chuffed to give him a personalised card! I normally give storecupboard cards from a box set at the Bookpeople!) :D

I'm going to get my Fathers Day card from Moonpig as they have a better range of funny cards. Perhaps we could negotiate some codes from them as well in the future? :D (If you don't ask, you don't get!) ;)

I think there's taking advantage of a generous offer and there's abuse of a generous offer.
It's intended as a one off 99p offer, not for you to order as many cards as you can before they stop you.

I've ordered one for my dad and another one at full price. AT 99p they'll be barely breaking even if not even taking a loss so why not purchase a further card so they can afford to keep going.

There's being thrifty and there's being a skinflint

I'm having the same problem with the checkout, just got the following (very quick) response from their customer service:

    Thanks for your email.
I'm sorry to hear of this problem.
Unfortunately we are having some technical problems at the moment with the 'checkout'. However our technology department is working over it and it will be fixed asap.

    Apologies for any worry caused.

    Regards
