Rechargeable Oral B toothbrushes half price Sainsburys

Hello.

Sainsbury's are selling Oral B rechargeable (mains) toothbrushes for half price - £12.99. There are a few different versions including the sonic ones. Looking at the boxes, the adaptors seem to be for shaver sockets rather than plugging them into the wall. That put me off buying it as I don't have this socket.

    Thanks theowl

All you need is a 3 pin shaver adaptor with the 2 pin holes and it will work fine.
I have loads of the adaptors, (Tesco points thing  :D ) let me know if you want one and I post one to you.

They are selling these half price in Tesco as well, and in Debenhams.

It seems they are just reducing in price generally.

The cost of replacement heads is the big factor in deciding whether to buy one.

aren't these at 1/2 price everywhere for a limited time as per their TV advert? (or is that another brand?)

These things are always more or less half price somewhere.

They are like printers etc, no use to the company that makes them unless people own them, the money is in the consumables, if you don't own them no one buys the heads to go on them. So half the time they are sold at "reduced" prices (I do however doubt that as they are probably well over priced in the first place and often on offer at the price they should have been in the first place).
I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.
