Nope.. Mine didn't work Just if you haven't registered before on some part of the site. I guess when you installed the drivers/software (more bloated form) it asks do you want to register your product. Recent psc's (printer scanner combo) have this. The old hp printers used to have very minimal software that didn't have the register online feature (was more reliable as well such as HP deskjet 840c)0
