Sending a postal order to a DCA, never sent one before, please help.

I need to request my CCA from Lowells. I have read many times on here that a postal order is the best way to do it, but I have never used one of those before.
I went to the post office to buy one the other day and they asked me who to make it out to, and I didn't know. Has anyone had to send one to Lowell's before? Do I get it made out to Lowell Financial or Lowell portfolio? Also, should I get it crossed?
Thanks for your help.

Hiya, I just had mine left blank and not crossed - I don't know if this is the right thing to do though.
Hopefully someone else will know.DFW Nerd No 953 - Proud to be dealing with my debts0 -
Thanks for your reply Suz. I did get one that was left blank and not crossed that I was going to send but when I spoke to the Debt advice center this morning, they told me not to send one like that but to send a cheque instead, but I don't want to do that as I am paranoid about sending them something with my signature on it.
Hopefully other will be able to advice us.0 -
Really sorry to bump my post but my CCA request letter is printed out and ready to take to the post office in the morning but I am still non the wiser what to do about my postal order. Can I leave it blank and uncrossed?
Any help on this would really be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
