Hey everyone
Thought I'd post an update as i had a letter from crapquest today - a lot quicker than i imagined, it goes :-
I write in response to your recent letter the contents of which have been noted.
Unfortunately i am unable to comment on the dispute you have raised as this was prior to our involvement and at the time the account was passed to us we were unaware of any existing query. Therefore we are closing the account on our system.
Thank-you for taking the time in trying to resolve this matter.

So thats a result :j
There is one thing tho, i sent them the money for all my details under the data protection act, and they have not mentioned that at all, and not even posted me the details. I still want these and not quite sure what to do now. I am going to write to them again to ask that the information is removed from my credit file, so should i comment on the breach of data protection at the same time, or give them a little longer and then complain to the ombudsman?
Just waiting on Natwest now, who i suspect will take a lot longer!
Thanks for all your help, and i will keep you posted with any new developments0
