This time of the year were all doing our gardens and if your like me i love a bargain.........
Went to B & Q yesterday and they had some lavenda plants down from £4.35 each or 3 for £10 down to £2.xx each or 3 for £2.xx.
I had to read this twice and asked someone about it and he said when u buy plants at a reduced price the 3 for offer still kicks in.
he then went on to tell me about some lobila that was reduced, it should of been £4 a box or 3 for £9 quid as there was a couple of dead plants it was £2 a box , so i picked up 3 and the offer kicked in and so got all 3 lobila for £3 grat bargain i thought. i wonder if this always kicks in on a 3 for offer on reduced plants so i will try it again !

I grabbed 2 lavender plants from £14.99 to 50p each. They did look a little tired on one side but they should come back next year. Hopefully.........0

I love B&Q for the past year i have brought loads of the clearance plants ranging from 10p mystery unlabelled plants. Plus all my perennials I took out a monster hedge in my front garden, and have now made a border 50ft long just from the clearance section. The 3 for price offers havent worked for me they just ask to sell in two transactions.0

Thanks for the reminder - have stocked up today
Worth going back regularly for top ups throughout the summer0 -
Thanks, I just picked up 3 Clematis reduced from £4.98 to £2.00 each. The 3 for £10 offer knocked another £4.94 off the total which made the net total £1.06. Pretty good plants too!0

I used to work near to B&Q in Llandudno and often called in before work (about 8.30ish) and they quite often had trays of plants reduced to as low as 1p. Usually half the plants would be dead but of course this means that half were still alive. Two of these trays = one full price tray for 2p!
My best buy was a Banana plant reduced from £9.99 to 99p which is still going strong on the patio (after spending the Winter in the garage). The fridge is empty, the walls are damp, there's no hot water
And I look like a tramp and tramps like us

After the poor weather do you think B&Q will reduce all bedding plants this weekend - Im sure they did something similar last year !!!
My Local B&Q has loads left with the odd plant that has started to rot, BUT they haven't reduced anything yet! Some days you're the bird......and some days you're the statue :cool:0
