best price for 42" 1080p lcd/plasma tv

i'm after an lcd or plasma tv pref 42" or above and 1080p resolution. not too fussed with brand but any suggestions greatly received:D .
Cheapest i've found is £599.99 that was for LG 42LF66 or the Hitachi L42P01C.
Also if anyone has any suggestions to make my choice easier, ie, what to look for etc.
we wont be gaming on it just watching tv sports and movies.
