Signed credit agreements

I have perused this forum and picked up some very useful information. My knowlege of financial and consumer matters are limited so I decided to try a bit of self educating and started nosing thru various sites eager to gain information, and I think I may have stumbled onto something....not entirely sure but I am sure you good people will tell me if I am talking out my bot :rotfl: .
I received a copy of my signed credit agreement from a dca in regards to an account I am disputing (account already settled) and my thought process led me to think this (not regarding my situation but possibly others)...if all a dca provides is your signed credit agreement, no statement of account or any other documentation relating to the debt then how can they prove an account/store card etc etc were ever used surely you can cancel a credit agreement within a set time period before an account becomes active and if they cant provide evidence of it you not being cancelled then surely they can't enforce the debt? (I know they probably can't anyway without other proofs but as I said my mind ticking over!! lol)
Which led me to a google search and I found http://www.netlawman.co.uk/info/cancelling-credit-agreement.phpis
Just a though maybe everone should say they cancelled the agreement then the dca will be well peed off!!!:rotfl:
I know I'm probably very very wrong but it makes you wonder!
