Coldplay Tickets

Mine were £102, £46 each for the tickets and as usual, ripped off by Ticketmaster charges!!!

What a rip-off! I know no-one forced me, but they were a present for my fiance. Ticket prices are getting ridiculous, i hate paying a fortune to see a gig that lasts an hour or so.... :(

Nothing in the Odyssey is cheap nowadays. Even the kids performances are an absolute scandal.

I bought the Coldplay tickets too. I'm delighted to have got them this time round as I missed out the last time.

£46 isn't too bad considering what you'd pay for Dolly Parton, Elton John, Rod Stewart et al.

marcais is right, I was looking up some Neil Diamond tickets (the Dublin gig) for the father-in-law and they were nearly 110 euro each! (~£85). Crazy prices!

I agree that it is a rip off. It is great to get the tickets for whatever show you want to go to, but to be ripped off is awful, and yet we pay as we want to go there. My husband and i went to see James Taylor and also Chris Rea, a wee while back and had two great nights seeing them, very enjoyable.

ok the ticket agents fee isnt a rip off. Thats their fee for selling the tickets. Would u like them to sell them for free? I think its great that they even do it as a % of the ticket cost rather than a flat say £4 fee a ticket as how bad would you feel buying say a £10 ticket with a flat £4 fee!!! that would be a rip off.. Sorry just had to say it as it drives me nuts.
Enjoy the gig - should be a great one :)

Go into belfast any night you'll find bands playing equal or better than Coldplay for £2-£3

Aye, but sitting in The Errigle with 12 other punters isn't the same experience.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Those were the days. Anyone remember the Ghost of an American Airman? I was really convinced those guys would hit the big time.

I remember seeing Snow Patrol in The Empire. Think it cost about £5 or £6.
