Remortgage Question

I am due to remortgage at the end of December and know that its too early at the minute but have heard people mention on here that there are some lenders that allow you to reserve a deal up to 6 months before (which would be end on June for me) Does anybody know any lender who does allow you reserve this long before? I have had a look on a few websites but cannot see anything mentioning this? Is it a case of ringing each lender up and asking?

Best bet would be to speak to a mortgage broker. Make sure they are whole of market and if possible will not charge a fee. As a start Alliance and Leicester give you 6 months as do Bristol and West

i have just applied for a remortgage with first direct and they told me the offer was valid for 6 months (which was lucky for me since they put there rates up day after i applied!)
