What have you done to try to make it play?
Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.

I went to My Computer, right clicked and then Properties. I checked that the (on Device manager) that there were no problems with both my drives. I can play music from the net but not from a CD drive.

    load media player, play>cd audio
or my computer>cd drive, double either play if the dialogue comes up, or double click a track

Tony, thanks for reply. What I can't understand is, previously if I put a CD into my drive, it would start to play with me having to open Windows Media Player. Now I have to open up WMP and go from start. I have just played a CD and there is sound, so I can't understand what was wrong.

I went to MS site to test both my drives. Test showed no fault. I then enabled Autoplay on both drives, again. Still it won't Autoplay and now won't play at all!
