on average how long does it take to notify you if you have won ?

you know after the comp is closed how long after do you normally hear if you have won

no reason for asking really but i suppose all comps are different arent they

One ended in December I got told in March and another ended in March, I only found out thanks to lcf4eva posting the winners list on here last week, i contacted them and they're finally notifying people now and sending out the prizes! So don't worry if you haven't won, you might have but you don't know it yet! :rotfl:

I think it depends on the company/website. I have seen that some people have posted that they have had a WEM from comps from as little as 3-4 days after it closed. Others have received WEMs months afterwards!
I want some more WEMs, I've only ever had 2, and one of those was a Phoebemail from the Glamour May comp (1 out of 31 days :rolleyes: )

Sometimes it can be 3 months, other times you can get your prize the next day

I also think it depends on the company's rules. I am also wondering as to whether you have to opt for their emails, newsletter, etc to have a chance to win? I never tick these :eek:

Not very helpful I know but sometimes prizes just arrive, within days, within weeks, within months.
Sometimes a WEM comes prior to that.
Sometimes a prize doesn't turn up for months .........

Took me 6 weeks from first entering to get my first win though - bet that's what you really want to know

PS - I get relatively few WEMS to my wins Most just arrive!

oooh that must be really nice when something like a TV or phone just arrives! Infact I just love getting parcels....!

:rotfl: Well I've never had that happen (a TV or phone) but I've had games, books, shampoo, lipstick, DVDs ...... that kind of thing just turn up

Quite a few companies don't notify you at all!
I've had prizes just turn up out of the blue

I remember seeing a thread not long ago that gave rough details of whether winners were notified or if the prizes just turned up depending on the competitoin...

Sorry ,, too early in the morn for me to word what im trying to say in away peepz can understand...
