Hi
Just received an email from firebox saying that each day in June they will be selling one of their items half price for 24 hours only or until they run out of stock.

Might be worth keeping an eye on :j

I saw that insect helicopter in Selfridges at the Trafford Centre (so definitely not the cheapest place on earth) and it was £19 or so; this half price deal isn't that good.
£16.42 inc postage, Ebay price is £16.24 same item.I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing!
Quidco and Topcashback, £5,687
ShopandScan, £3,470
Tesco Double The Difference, £2,700
Thomson EU261/04 Claim, £1,700
British Airways EU261/04 Claim, EUR12000 -

Yep, todays isnt the greatest saving but during the rest of the month you never know. And if you have one of their £5 off vouchers that they gave away recently there could be a nice bargain to be had during the month

I think delivery always costs £3.95 and if you use one of those £5 vouchers (which you can still get almost anywhere) then you'll end up getting £1.05 off the price of the item.0 -
A small hint of whats to come?
By changing the image URL from:

to

etc etc... up to 07a - gives a hint of what is coming but without the price?0 -
Yeah, looks like this could just be a clever bit of marketing - don't be duped into automatically thinking you're getting a bargain just because something's advertised as half price. :think:laticsforlife wrote: »I saw that insect helicopter in Selfridges at the Trafford Centre (so definitely not the cheapest place on earth) and it was £19 or so; this half price deal isn't that good.

Today's offer is "Mr Soccer Robot Football" for £14.97 - supposedly half price, but I only paid £14.95 (+P&P) when I bought it from Firebox just before Christmas (the same price as it was featured on The Gadget Show).
Just be on your guard if you're thinking of taking advantage of these "incredible offers". :rolleyes:0 -

Calendar day 6: i-cy Penguin
Calendar day 7: Wash-O-Matic (Quirky Birdhouses)0 -
firebox obviously didn't like the of people being able to tell what's coming up and changed the urls for the images accordingly.
HOWEVER, they didn't change things quite enough and i've managed to figure out enough to predict the next week's worth of items (although not the days):
- Star Wars Force FX Lightsaber
- Money Maze
- Speeding Grandads
- Money Monster
- The Hold Up
- Wild Hibiscus Flowers
- iFly Vamp
