On Sunday Life, BBC1, this morning, there was a discussion about using leftovers. An elderly lady had written a book which included banana skin curry but no clues regarding the recipe.
Anyone bought the book or got any ideas?

I have been searching for this book too, if anyone has a link to it or the isbn I would be eternally grateful, as my Google-fu is truly failing me today!

Yes, I saw that programme this morning. I don't have the book, and unfortunately the libraries near me don't have it!
If people recommend it (Second Time Around by Pamela Le Bailly) I might dip into my pocket and buy it:D0 -

Here's a recipe for banana skin chutney http://ammachethivantalu.blogspot.com/2008/02/aratikaaya-tokkala-pacchadi-plantainraw.htmlTOP MONEYSAVING TIP
Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!0 -
