Terms and Conditions – Cashback Switch off Paper statements
- If you are one of the first 50,000 accounts to switch off any paper statement during the period 2nd June 2008 to 30th June 2008, we will pay £2 into an eligible HSBC account.
- The £2 will be credited to your account within 2 months of switching off your paper statements.
- You will only receive one payment of £2 for each account that you switch off the paper statement for.
- If you are taking up the "£5 cashback when you go green" you will not be eligible for the £2 cashback on that same account.
- If you have already switched off the statements, you will not receive another payment of £2 if you switch the statements back on from your account and then re choose the switch-off statements option.
- You must keep your paper statements switched off for a minimum of 12 months from the date you switch them off.

Thanks op. I will do that. Paper statements are so out of date they don't tell you anything anyway, but I wasn't keen on losing my cheque book with the £5 offer. I don't write many cheques but I prefer them for sending in for school trips etc. Not so bad when the kids lose them then.Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:
