A Challenge For All Budding Mse's...is This Correct?

:money: :money: :money: :money: :money: :money: :money: :money: The scenario: I have bought a table and chairs interest free for 9 months, with the finance house being http://www.cetelem.co.uk/message.html they are CLAIMING they cannot accept credit cards for settlement payments, then in the next breath, or line as you will see.....they DO accept credit card payments, but only if you are in arreas.

Are they legally obligated to accept a credit card payment?

    No.

    They are probably doing it because debit cards have lower handling costs than credit cards. Providers are allowed to charge for use of a credit card and not debit cards but I am guessing here that this company have chosen not to levy the extra charge and refuse to accept them. Its probably a cost/administration issue.
