Advice please... I've been given a signed football shirt and would like to get it framed for OH..(from his favorite team)
Has anybody had this done? at what price? a local framing company told me about £250...which i found far too much...

I would say do NOT use one of the clip frames - we used one for our son's footie shirt and it does not hold it very firmly.

I framed a shirt for a player from my football team and bought the frame from IKEA - £7.99 - metal frame with a recess to fit shirt in looked ok.

    Hi,
I had silly quotes for my signed shirt ?( around £120 - 200) so in the end bought a frame from Matalan ( £10) and some cardboard to make a template for the shirt to hang on and hold it ( it's important to stretch it out to the edges). Put a few pins in here and there and then put it into the frame - as good as the pros for around £12 and a bit of time. Good luck!

    Hi froggy,

I am in Surrey and am also looking to get a signed shirt framed - so far have been quoted between £100 and £200. Would be interested to hear what you decided on in the end or if you found a bargain framing shop that you could recommend!
