My new nurse refused to give me a test so I had one done at Lloyds, just needed to show the receipt.
Did not need to fast, seemed very efficient, even did blood pressure. The print out thye gave you showed good and bad cholest etc. Far better information than when I had done at previous doctors!
You only get a true reading if you fast - usually for about 10-12 hours beforehand - so if your test is 10.30am then from 10.30pm the night before would be about right.Jo x2007:£5181.09 2008: £6619.70 2009: £4284.49 2010: £5213.14 2011: £4980.62 2012: £3188.52
