I'm not much of a fan of lloyds. We bought one of their blood pressure devices followed the instructions to the letter and the results were all over the place. Went to my GP and they said I was fine. The Lloyds bp device has stayed in its box since ;-)
Not sure what sort of deviation you are talking about, but it's quite normal for blood pressure to bounce around all over the place, even standing up or talking has an effect on it. So your device may well have been accurate.

My new nurse refused to give me a test so I had one done at Lloyds, just needed to show the receipt.

Did not need to fast, seemed very efficient, even did blood pressure. The print out thye gave you showed good and bad cholest etc. Far better information than when I had done at previous doctors!

You only get a true reading if you fast - usually for about 10-12 hours beforehand - so if your test is 10.30am then from 10.30pm the night before would be about right.

    ;)
