The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

Hey Everyone,

I remeber reading a thread with this title when i first joined and thought i might try to revive it because it gave me real perspective.

I have tried to find it but no luck so far.

Todays list

The good: I have now stopped smoking for a month and 12 hours

The Bad: my PPI claim for my cc got refused (they have the signed CC agreement with my sig and i ticked the box - i really was stupid when i was 18)

The Ugly - DH has a black eye because he was jumped on the way home last night, apparently they just punched him in the face and ran off!!!!!

How is everyone else doing???????

PPI - !!!!!!!

Husband... sorry to hear about that. Some people are such nasty rotters. Hope his eye gets better soon - arnica gel helped when I got a black eye (don't ask!) and the bruising went down after a few days which was pretty quick bearing in mind how hard I banged my head.

Hope your day gets better. I'm off to spend a voucher.

OK for me:

The good - I've decided to cancel all the mobile phone contracts for the household and got with PAYG. It will save us tons of money each month.

The bad - ex hubby just phoned and said he can't have kids tomorrow. He only has them once a month and he's cancelled. Again.....

The ugly - I'm 37 on Monday and Im feeling old and wrinkly!

OOOh I like this tread......my turn

The good : Cat is now going outside after moving house (Hopefully the house won't smell like a litter tray now!)

The bad : I'm at home cleaning (well stalling with looking on MSE!) and I'm still smoking......I know I need to give up!

The ugly : The cat attacked my OH while he was playing with him, and now he has a rather nasty scratch on the back of his neck (I say good on ya cat!)

My turn, my turn!

The good: I haven't smoked for 5 days!

The bad: Have almsot finished my NVQ in Care Management and the company went bust, taking my portfolio of evidence with them. New company has taken over and cos my job has changed, I have to start from scratch. Need to get some assignments done and this afternoon will be the day!

The ugly: The state of my flat! Gotta get motivated and do some cleaning later and also, my itunes has deleted itself... still have music on the pod but not on here... most odd and a few hrs work to get it all back, especially to add new stuff - booooooooooo!

the good - I am on maternity leave from my main job. YAY no more commute or working from home for 9 months.

The bad - I am still company-secratary for OH business and a director too so I still have obligations there, however i should be able to fulfil them while at home.

The ugly - We have collected sooo much junk since we moved here. the plan is clear debt save a deposit then sell this place and buy larger in 2 ish years. At the moment unless we get our junk collections ebayed/carbooted we will have no room for the baby. Boring i'm afraid.
