Hi
I just needed some help with loans
I need a loan for my wedding ( long story) which i can pay off within 1-2 years quite easily.
got an income over over 40k but was silly enough to have numerous credit cards i was not using ( probably about 20k available to spend on them with owing 6000 on one of them which is currently on 0% balance transfer)
i applied for a loan from yourpersonaloan.co.uk and it was refused. since.. i have cancelled 1 but 2 others with no balance on them is taking along time despite me ringing them loads. they say it will be till the middle of june (which is when i need the money for)
What do I do?
Wait...
or try somewhere else.. i obviously dont want to pay large interest rates and the next option was barclaycard.
Any ideas?

Save your money, get you and your closest off to Gretna Green for a fantastic weekend. I did the meringuefrock doo the first time and went to Gretna when I married a proper bloke the second time. My cousin and his partner spent 16 grand last year. She looked misserable all day and he's still paying for it  .0

Don't say the money is for a wedding, say it's for a new kitchen (if you are a homeowner) or new Car if not. Or redecorating/new furniture.
Lenders are less likely to lend for weddings (so I hear) because there's no tangible item at the end that you could potentially sell to settle the debt.
(I may be wrong, but this is what I have heard)
(EDIT: Someone will probably come in here and rubbish the above so feel free to ignore me)Kavanne
